We stepped out to the Gay Pride Parade today on 4th avenue.

We also played with puzzles, taking pictures, and more chalk :) Syd took some of these pictures. She had a good time with the camera today.

Today's Picnic at Gasworks Park

It was a mighty fine day today!! I have no idea how hot it was, but it sure felt nice. Hopefully no one is at home complaining about their lack of air conditioning.... I know I'm going to try and keep my mouth shut ;)

We went to Gasworks park for a picnic tonight. We made spaghetti, asparagus and brought some mango. mmmmHmmmm.

We colored with some chalk and blew bubbles. It was the perfect Saturday evening.

The Ballard Locks have some Summer Events as well.

They have live music Sunday afternoons and lots of stuff for kids to play with. The Locks are such a wonderful place to visit during the summer, live music can only make it better :)

If....

I have an If.... book that's fun to check out once in a while. I'd love to get some participation going. I'm thinking perhaps some fun questions to answer might be a good start.

1. IF you had to die in one of history's disasters, which one would you pick?

2. IF you could ensure that your child has one experience that you have had yourself, what would you want it to be?

3. IF you had to have one piece of music softly playing in your mind for the rest of your life, what would you want it to be?

Knitting: Baby Overalls

The knitting has been a bit slow lately. I suppose that should be expected with Summer nearby.

I wanted to share what's currently on the needles. I'll post more photos when I get further along.

I'm knitting some baby overalls for an unknown recipient. I guess whoever has their baby around the time these are completed will probably be the recipient. We'll see :)

This is my first clothing project that isn't completely rectangle. Wish me luck!

Specs:

Yarn: Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran in three colors
Needles: Size US 7 circular
Size: 3-6 Months
