Seattle Aids Walk - Team PATH - 2009

Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to the Lifelong Seattle Aids Walk. We went this morning with Team PATH and walked the 5K. It was the first year in 5 years that it has been a sunny walk. It was a beautiful day and there was a great turnout. I think the walk raised about $500,000 total!

MoNK - 3 Months Today!

He smiles all the time and is really starting to babble with us quite a bit. He swats at his mobile and other interesting things and his favorite place is outside. He's content for hours outside. He loves the green and blue and tall trees catch his eye. I guess we live in a pretty good place for the kid :)

MoNK's 1st M's Game

09-16-09
Seattle Mariners (4) v. Chicago White Sox (1)

We went to the M's game last night at Safeco. It was quite enjoyable. Miles was just checking out the crowd and the field the whole game. He's a great sports fan ;) It was nice to be back in the stadium - it has been a few months. Chris and Syd are going on Saturday to see them play the Yankees and Miles and I will be at the Sounders game watching them take on Chivas. Now if only we could make it up to the Husky game earlier in the day we'd be all caught up on the day's activities.

The Park with the Blue Grass

Yes, kids do say the darndest things.... We told Syd we were going to the park to play yesterday afternoon and she proceeded to ask, "The park with the blue grass?" I really couldn't put my finger on what she was talking about so I asked Chris what she meant. He thought for a second and said, "Oh... she remembers the Bluegrass Festival at Battlepoint". We were in fact going to the park with the blue grass. The girl remembers everything and this one was just funny.

Here are some pics from playing in the backyard and at the park with the blue grass...
